Our Pastor: Dr. Dion Henry
We are proud that in October 2016 we celebrated 117 year of ministry. We are also proud to begin our 118th year with our new pastor, Dr. Dion Henry and the Henry family. Dr. Henry was installed on November 12, 2016. Pastor Henry and his wife Dilyn and their two beautiful children are a blessing to our church and to the greater Kansas City area. To see learn more about Pastor Henry and his family, please access his full bio here.
In addition to our pastor, the Beacon Light church elders help to provide foundational support for the growth and health of the church. We are fortunate to have a Head Elder, an Administrative Elder and other gifted elders who help to support our pastor and the members of the Beacon Light Church. If needed, they are always available by calling 816.87ELDER or 816.873.5337.
About Beacon Light Seventh-day Adventist Church
Beacon Light Seventh-day Adventist Church is a church that is rooted and grounded in the love of Christ. We are passionate about sharing this love with the Greater Kansas
City area through our witness of
Christ’s goodness and saving grace. Servants to the people of the community, we meet needs with compassion and care.
First among our beliefs is the existence of a loving Creator who is known through his word, the Bible, and we anxiously await His soon return. We hope you’ll be ready to meet Him when He comes.
Pastor Cryston Josiah (our most recent pastor), his wife Karen, and their beautiful children were a part of our family from 2010 to 2016 and we continue to pray for them as Pastor Josiah, takes on his new leadership role as Vice President of Administration for the Central States Conference (Effective July 23, 2016).
During this time and until a new pastor is announced for our church, we are pleased and excited about the wonderful leadership through our Christ-centered Elders and our mission of spreading the gospel. We know that God will continue to guide and use Beacon Light!
